Triceratops dinosaur knitting pattern to love by Claire Garland aka Dot Pebbles Knits
I wish this triceratops dinosaur knitting pattern had been around when my son was little. He would have ADORED it and I’d have loved making it for him.
I only discovered this new pattern earlier today when researching something else and I HAD to share it with you. That’s enough of the shouty capitals now, I promise.
Anyway, back to the cuddly prehistoric one…
Information on the triceratops dinosaur knitting pattern
Claire’s dinosaur is knitted flat, joining on sections as you go to eliminate loads of joining little parts.
Claire added wire in the horns on hers but if you’re knitting yours for young children you may wish to just stuff them firmly instead.
Speaking of wires, feel free to add an armature or even weighted beans into the body to give your dino extra weight and support – needed if you want to have a go at animation!
Apart from that – a fairly straight-forward knit, according to Claire, who has added lots of photos to the pattern to make life easier for you.
