Welcome to the fascinating world of perfume. The Cotswold Perfumery is a independent family business in a beautiful 300 year old grade II listed building in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water. We have been creating and selling fine fragrances since 1966. Our unique perfumes are created by our chief perfumer – the experienced, skilled and incredibly knowledgeable, John Stephen.
John believes in using only the highest quality raw materials, and goes to great lengths to ensure that the 600 essential oils, absolutes, gums and resins are the best available. Today, the Cotswold Perfumery produces 116 products, which are bought by customers around the world.
All our perfumes are made on the premises in the heart of the Cotswolds. You can buy them in our shop or online.
We offer practical, hands-on lab days for perfume course delegates who want to practise their new skills.
We offer luxury self-catering accommodation in two beautiful, award-winning apartments in our 300-year-old property – both with river views of Bourton-on-the-Water. (Perfume course delegates receive a discount on accommodation.)
