Crochet flowers: prettiest ideas to make or buy
The tail end of Winter is always when I feel the deepest yearning for Spring flowers. I fill the house with daffodils and spring bulbs in every conceivable container I can think of. Sunshine colours, optimistic fragrance and a promise of sunshine-warmed days to come are always cheering – if always a little too fleeting. Then I happened across this exquisite Little Beauty botanical tulip crochet pattern on Etsy and, just like that, a whole new avenue of Spring crafting loveliness opened up. I have already learned the basics of crochet (see my posts:How to crochet a flower… and more and crochet basics – a beginner’s guide) so this pattern (described as Intermediate level) is set to be a bit of challenge, but I’m up for it. Why haven’t I thought to crochet my own Spring flowers before?
This set me off down a bit of a rabbit hole. A pretty rabbit hole, full of crochet flowers to make or buy. So I thought I’d share my findings with you, as I know that most of you are way more adept with a crochet hook than I am. I hope you find something you love to make (or buy). As always, do let me know how you get on – it’s always such a pleasure to hear from you and to see photos of the wonderful creations you make.
