Passionate about Knitting they describe themselves as traditional modernists. Each knitted dress sweater cardi or accessory cleverly combines forward fashion styling with traditional knitting techniques.

Luxury and organic fibres

Proud of producing entirely in the UK Quinton Chadwick use luxury fibres such as alpaca merino wool linen and cashmere blends and next season will introduce an organic lambswool. The special attention to detail in the design and the high quality of fibres means each piece is much more than a one season wonder. It is meant to be kept worn and loved like an old favourite.

They have recently introduced a range of accessories. These knitted hats scarves and gloves are also all made in the UK. Their aim is to keep British traditional knitting skills alive in their home communities and support the co-operatives of specialists hand knitters and local factories who knit them making Quinton Chadwick knitwear “a truly British product with no air miles”.

They use specialist factories in Scotland and Nottingham as well as a co-operative of hand-frame knitters in Cornwall. This hands on approach to machine techniques and industrial processes has helped the label develop its clever handwriting, a modern edgy twist on heritage patterns. Always inspired by colour and the play of scale and pattern, each new collection moves with current trends yet enhances their strong quirky graphic style.

Winners of the UK fashion export council’s award for small business and the Drapers Accessory award. This puts them among the most successful British brands in the field of knitwear.
